What locomotive is that?  I've always like the SF yellow bonnet, but seem unable to find many O locomotives with it.

The loco is an Atlas O-Scale model of the 4-axle GM GP-35, built from 1963 to 1966, with a 2500HP V-16 diesel engine.

The model has a DCC sound system which operates nicely from my 40-year-old Analog DC Controller!

Yep. Like the slogan says "Moving Freight and Passengers from Point A to Point A for over 9/50 of a century." It may be convoluted, but we're loop running, so our trains are ultimately going nowhere. But at least they're not running through at ridiculous speeds -- "going nowhere fast."

BTW, Hal, like that Geep 35. As to bridges to nowhere, you aren't the first and won't be the last.
