Hi Everybody-- It's been a slow go because I keep getting pulled away on other projects, BUT-- I came off my outer main line loop with a right-hand Lionel 072 switch and used a graduated trestle set by K-Line and took the new branch line up to about 6-inches elevation and circled around behind my Greyhound Bus depot, thence over the top of my master control area utilizing a big Truss bridge and then kept circling over to the far side of the layout where I removed the Sunoco Gas tank, the Oil Derrick and the Passenger and Freight Station. The Diner stays put for now.
I pre-built the stub-end trolley terminal on a sheet of 1/2-inch plywood using one left-hand switch and one Wye Switch. This gives me the three stub ends which will be electrically separate and will terminate in Lionel track bumpers. Fellow trolley guru Mitch will love it when I eventually take photos.
More happenings later on.
Cheers.
