Hey all, I don't know if this is real news but the December 2013 issue of Classic Toy Trains shows an ad for Gargraves S gauge switches. I know they have been unavailable for quite some time pending a re-design of the turnouts.

The new switch looks a lot like original Gilbert turnouts with a very similar moving rail assembly to access the diverging rail. They are available either powered or non-powered.

For that matter, the same arrangement as the previous Gargraves turnout, just a sharper diverging radius.   For those of us that prefer turnouts to look like turnouts, too bad.
