New Lionel R-16 window GLUE?? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi got a brand new set of r-16’s and they have the door windows falling out. Which glue makes them hold without making a mess of a new set?

I wonder what glue Lionel uses that fails from the jarring their products experience during shipping? Seems to be a common problem. What ever it is, it's not very good. I think I've had to re-glue at least one window in every Lionel diesel I own. Wish they would contact their manufacturer and ask them to try something different.

Some of the more infamous models are the trackmobiles and the Vision Line Genset, those windows pop out like popcorn! Putting them back into the Genset isn't that hard, but the trackmobile is a giant PITA to fix the windows!
