Wow, what a beautiful set of passenger cars, are they Standard guage or O guage. Also when were they cataloged? They are simply awesome looking. Happy Railroading
LL: This is an O gauge set modeled on the actual Lionel iconic standard gauge State Set.
My Broadway set had cars missing parts, glue smeared all over one car. Dealer took it back since lionel had no replacements. Sad for consumer and dealers profit. Everyone looses!

Is this one of the last sets made by MTH under license to use the Lionel name?

Beautiful train but, is it just me or does it sound like Darth Vader?
Years ago I was given a complete MTH Standard Gauge State set with the extra car (Conventional) and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Yes it has the MTH Nameplate on the side but otherwise it's like a new original.
These Lionel O Gauge cars look great though. Enjoy!
