Don't have the CSX but I have the GE Demonstrator Hybrid and GE Demonstrator 2005 versions and love them (a bit of trivia -- the 2005 was rebuilt into the 2010 Hybrid, so when I consist them, I'm consisting the hybrid with itself). They run smoothly, sound good, and look good. I opted for the fixed pilot/scale-wheeled versions, but they can handle 36" radius (O-72) curves (they're not fond of O-72 turnouts, though).

I just picked up the PRR Heritage Series ES44 with PS3.  The detail is exceptional, as all of my MTH Premiers are.  It worked flawlessly right out of the box.  Very smooth runner, down to 2-3 mph.  The soundset is the same as my CSX AC4400, with maybe some startup tweaks, but it's hard to tell.  The LED headlight dims when the engine stops, then goes to full brightness when accelerated.  The cab light also goes out when the engine starts moving.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with it, and feel like it is worth what I paid for it.  My only criticism is that I saw the real PRR Heritage unit, and it was magnificent in a glossy deep maroon with really sharp yellow/gold graphics.  The MTH model was the typical tuscan red type, with the typical low lustre finish.  Kind of killed the dazzle of the prototype.  I was also expecting more from PS3 than dimming headlight and cab light on/off.  The idiotic crew talk is the same old stuff, which really needs to be changed on all models.  But those are minor, and it's a strong, smooth runner.  I don't think you will be disappointed.
