The subject line pretty much says it all. I like GP9s and RS3s, but I won't be buying any more of them. I like SD45s too but they're really too big for my layout. How about affordable models of the U23B or C424? I know Atlas has made those, but not often and they're hard to find.
Also, I wonder if some of the older small or mid-size Premier engines could become RK engines? GP38s, U25Bs, and Alco switchers were all owned by a lot of railroads. The Premier models are no longer new to the market, but many of us can't buy them because $450 is out of reach. Why not move them down a price point, and make it up in volume?
