Since S scale postings in OGR's "For Sale or Trade" classification tend to get lost among the many O gauge listings, I want to call your attention to my post of late afternoon, Sept. 28, titled "New S scale boxcars." The term "new" refers to the boxcars not having been previously operated, rather than their being produced recently. Actually, the 40-foot steel "rebuilt" boxcars were produced and factory-decorated by S-Helper Service prior to the "China situation" interrupting production. All are decorated for the National Railways of Mexico and being offered in quantities of one, two, six or 12 cars. The larger units are for cars likely to be repainted. At a price as low as $31.25 each in cartons of 12, this is nearly one-half the price that MTH will be asking for their new production. See the ad for further ordering details.
