Just visited SideTrack Hobbies new location near Al's True Value store in Leonardtown, Md.  It is right on MD Hwy 5 on the north side of town.

The entrance is from the outside and is to the left of the True Value store's entrance, and is well marked.  Hours have not changed.

The store is upstairs and is considerably smaller than the old store.  However, they have packed in a lot of stuff.  The isles are narrow to get more shelving in, and boxes are stacked to the roof.  All they have now, with the exception of a small section with MTH HO, is MTH and Lionel O and Tin Plate.  I did not see any other brands there, not even K-line.  The non-railroad stuff and toys are gone.  The crew was just as eager to help me as always.  Again, they still have a lot of stuff there.

I saw Al while walking around in the True Value store looking for the SideTrack entrance.  He looked well but busy.  He will be at York.

I never made it to the larger store they've had for the past several years.  But from what you're describing, their current set-up sounds much like they had many years ago.  They remain my go-to store for Standard Gauge tinplate.

Glad to hear they have completed the move.

I visited Sidetrack several times eralier this year while the move was "in progress." Included lots of great prices to move inventory. One time I was there somebody was interested in purchasing the display layout in the store.

Anyway, will be down in So. Maryland soon and will stop by.

Not sure where you encountered the issues.  I browsed around this morning, and was able to maneuver through several categories to find what I needed.  But I always call them to place an order, and they confirm that items are in stock -- which is a nice touch.

I'm sure they'll bring a few Standard Gauge tinplate items to York, so I'm bound to do some damage at their booth.

As for their website... It's well-known their website isn't the "friendliest", and I'm sure the owners know its limitations as well.  So let's not beat a dead horse here, guys.  It's easy for me to overlook, 'cause their breadth of Standard Gauge tinplate inventory is unmatched in the industry.  Just pick up the phone, people.  The sky will not fall on you.
