I have wanted a #42 for ever,,why I didn't buy one before,who knows,i got this the other day,got it today,like a jerk I just put it on the track,kinda moved,stopped, moved stopped,so off the the workbench,sprayed it with some crc electrical contact cleaner,oil lube,runs like a champ,its a nicely done repaint,i can only hope I run as well at approx. 100yrs like this one does

Plucking this thread from the recents, I thought I would see a Pica tinny Arsenal. I haven't seen that nice of an old #42 since I was a kid, one of the few SG models Gramps kept when he moved from tin to PW in the 30s. He never opened that showcase my whole life. Heck, it might have sealed shut for all I know.

with modern lubricants it may run better than new. Favorite STG engine.
get some #10 cars and 18 19 190 cars.
