Hello, I have been running DCS since first released back in early 2000' and just picked up my my first wifi unit. I spent some time looking on the forum and cannot find answers to several issues I am having.
SET UP-My current set up is TIU (Rev L) and remote I just loaded with ver 6.0. The latest premium app downloaded last night ($30 dollar app) on the iPhone 5 se. The MTH wifi unit updated to 1.1 using LuCI and using MTH mode. Before using the rev L TIU, I was using an older TIU/remote with ver 4.10 running on it. I did download the engine file list from the remote with Ver 4.10 and saved it on my computer to update (import) both the new DCS remote with 6.0 and also copied/renamed it with the .mth suffix to be sent to my iPhone for importing to the app.
#1, App cannot control variable track power, as it would not let me select it. The DCS remote is able to. As I look through the features in the App, it cannot find a TIU. I tried reseting the Wifi unit with the reset button on the unit. I tried to factory reset the TIU using the DCS remote. I tried erasing the tracks 1 & 2 from the App. and then searching for the TIU. Not sure what I am doing wrong?
#2, The App can control DCS engines when prompted to read them (find) from engines on the track. When using import list from the remote (a mix of MTH and TMCC engines), the app shows the engines but will not allow me select them. Only option for engines on the list looks to be to "edit" and then delete. Additionally, is there a way to edit the engine list on your PC and then import it?
#3, Quillable whistle that works from the DCS remote with 6.0 does not seem to be an option on the app, where should I be looking to enable this?
