Woooow!! You weren't kidding when you said a long video!! Well it was well worth watching. Very enjoyable and fun to watch you have such a great layout.

Alan here's what the camera and car looks like that carries the video camera around. It's just a MTH Rail King passenger car with all the guts taken out and a slot cut into the bottom to hold the camera. I also been working on a secret camera car   that once done I will show all of you.

Great video Alex.  But you have to get some Erie on that layout.  A few of us had the pleasure of visiting Alex a few months back   His layout is awesome.  We had this guy with a funny accent with us

 

 

 

One thing very funny though  I asked Alex for a soda and he handed me some Woodland Scenic ground cover.  Weirdest refrigerator I ever saw

We had a great time that day with some really awesome forum members, from the Mid America 3-railers and the NJHirailers Ben, Dave Allen, Eliot Scher, Chris Lord, Jim D, Doug N, Mike Caruso, Vinny, Mike, and my Dad. This is my spare refrigerator that my wife uses for the holidays I stole it for my supplies, needless to say she wants to kill me. When I opened it to show the guys they all cracked up laughing.

My layout is U shaped the right side is 26 by 10 across the back is 23 by 10 and the left side is 17 by 10. I might be off on these sizes a little,  but very close.

I can never run my smoke for very long set off the smoke detectors in the layout room.

Very nice video Alex. The camera and mount works very well, no shaking, great sound.

I exspecially like the camera's ability to maintain good color and light in the tunnel.

The double headed Northerns are awesome! Great smokers indeed!
