Just joined the forum, but have been reading the posts here for a few weeks and have learned a lot. I want to thank all of you for your pool of knowledge on various topics. I've learned by experience and confirmed by you that Williams engines are trouble-free excellent runners. Thanks for recommending the Red & Tacky II grease, with which I have now used on all my engines. I've also learned how to change out lights and fix detached pickup wires on the Polar Express cars, and the list goes on and on. You people are great. I'm a small operater with an 88 sq. ft. layout in the basement with 3 trains on 3 separate loops. The grand kids love it. Looking forward to more enlightenment and edification from you experts. Seems like quite a few of you are easterners as I've noticed a lot of comments about eastern train shows and railroads. I'm a Union Pacific and Santa Fe fan and hope you don't mind the addition of a westerner. Anyway, it's good to be here and I think you people and this forum are great.

Welcome to the forum. A great place to learn. There's always someone on here that can give you the answer to a question you might ask & over the years I have certainly asked my fair share of those questions.
Welcome to the forum!!
Here, you'll find a great source of information and where to buy your hobby relayed items from. Many of the "good guys" to purchase from are forum sponsors.
Welcome to the forum, YellowstoneSpecial! You can be quite sure that westerners are welcome here, as is anyone from any other spot on the globe. And I expect that a large number of us easterners have a fondness for the Santa Fe and UP. After all, the warbonnet scheme was, for us oldsters in particular, something that sparked our early interest in the hobby.
Welcome to the forum. The search tab will become you're best friend.
Welcome!! You found THE spot for any O scale railroader!!!!
Howdy Yellowstone,
I must say that's a fine looking layout and do I dare say as well, highly impress with what you have learn in such a short time. This is not to patronize I'm being serious here.
It's a neat hobby ain't it. It's sad to see what's happen to our railroads in this country, I guess in the end it will be the hobbyist who keeps the memories alive. We Americans have a terrible record of destroying our own history.
A throwaway society. Today's technology is tomorrows garbage.
Anyway welcome.

and note the eagles crying at the end.
Welcome to the Forum. You have a lot of company with your choice of the Sante Fe and Union Pacific railroads. My guess is that most on this Forum have engines/trains that represent one or both of these railroads.
I have lived in the East, Midwest, and the West and there is a lot of company for you in our O-Gauge world no matter where you live.
Welcome to the forum. Anybody that also likes my two favorite railroads has to be all right.
