It would be nice if the creators/builders could come up with some type of perpetual cloud(dry ice smoke...) for the incoming and departing planes to break through.

Without even clicking the link, I'm guessing this is a layout in Germany?
Yes it is, But I didn't see any trains this time, just the Airport section.

I haven't clicked on it either and I would be willing to bet a large sum that you are 100% correct. Nice as it is, you would think that the thing has been quite adequately "exposed" to the world by now.
I've seen a bit of it before, too; but, for some reason, didn't watch the whole video. I knew the... I've seen it before... probably, would appear.
For those people that are seeing this particular video, for the first time; enjoy the wonderful creativity and skills... showcased. The creators possess extraordinary skills.
BTW, there is a model train portion shown, just briefly, though; its just to the left of that light colored support column. It comes into view... just after that little tree falls over.
BTW, a friend just returning from Britain, emailed the link, last night. It was new to him... there must be others...
Re: the entrance/exit for the inflight aircraft, some type of reusable(recirculated) smoke would an improvement. Something similar to recirculated water features; but, with a vapor. Probably, some type of vacuum/release system...
I hope I didn't spoil your day... members, who found this extremely difficult to find yet, again.

Masterpieces are usually worth more than just one look...

Here's a link to the Dutch version. Madurodam is well worth a visit, larger scale, and outdoors too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...&feature=related
Nicole,
Thanks for posting the link. Very nice.
Here's a link to the Dutch version. . . .
VEry cool. I watched this and some other links of more to the same site. I love all the traffic on the roads. Wish there were more trains, though . . .
The Dutch versions reminds me of a smaller "Garden of Marvels" that used to be in Great Adventure Jackson NJ. After the exhibit was closed at Great Adventure, many of the original buildings made it to an indoor display in Washington Township NJ, which
closed some time in the 1990s.

Doesn't surprise me, Nicole; the Dutch are known for their engineering mastery.
A very nice contribution, here.
High marks for the realism re: the trucks on the road and the big ships. Impressive!
BTW, are you living in Holland or the U.S.?
I'm so confused.

This has been pretty widely posted in a number of train forums. It's all part of Minatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany. I believe the airport was added within the last couple of years, it's claimed to be the largest model RR in the world, and it's at least certainly in the running. If I ever get back to Hamburg, it's on my Bucket List to see.
