Found this on YouTube - not shot by me.

Sit back and listen to 4500 horsepower, boiler pressure of 245 pounds per square inch and 400 tons of machine get the job done.

On September 5th, 2015, Penn Rail Videos followed the Nickel Plate Berkshire #765 over the Pocono Main Line. This was once the route of the Lackawanna Railroad's famous passenger train, "The Phoebe Snow".

After two failed attempts to ride behind NKP #765 because of scheduling conflicts, we finally got to do it on the Phoebe Snow excursion!  It was a great ride and a beautiful day and the locomotive looked and sounded spectacular.

Unfortunately the runby was cancelled because they were running late, which was a bit disappointing, but my wife and I enjoyed the trip and bought some souvenirs.  On the way home Sunday we attended a Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (Phillies AAA affiliate) ballgame in Allentown.  A fabulous weekend!
