What I like about history is that there is always something surprising coming at you. Check out the vehicle below.  Is it a trolley? a bus?  I have never heard of the American Autocarrette Company, which made this vehicle for a streetcar company in Washington  DC.

It was electric.    The company has a very short run.  One of them caught fire and burned to the ground.   Another was in an accident with a horse drawn carriage, and the company was pretty much sued out of existence.

This was at the dawn of the horseless carriage/automobile becoming a so called issue for cities and having to create regulations.   There's a lot of very interesting reading out there.   Google is your friend
