Why can I not send a private message. Popup says I have a red light and no permission. When did you need to get permission and by who. I want to send something to Jon G and cannot. I am an MTH tech., and wish to discuss something with him in private. Thank you. Forest.

Private messages can only be sent between Digital Subscribers. I see you are. Is the recipient? If he’s not a Digital Subscriber, then I suspect that’s the issue.
Non-subscribers can still send e-mails to subscribers and vice versa. (That all depends on whether both have their e-mails visible in their profiles.)
The Private Messaging feature is only available to Digital Subscribers. If the person your are trying to send to is not a digital sub, you will get that message. If you were to send a PM to me, for example, it would work.

Doesn't the guy you are trying to contact have an eMail listed in his OGR profile?
