no power going thru TIU

The only thing that can kill the FIXED channel power from coming through is either hitting the E-STOP key to pick the relay or blowing the fuse.

• Remove ALL power from the TIU, aux power and all power to all inputs.
• Restore power to the TIU input channels and aux power if you use it.
• If there is no power on the FIXED outputs at this time, either the fuses are blown or the TIU has an internal problem.

Some comments from me. Considering I turn my TIU off every time when I’m not running trains to me that’s the same as disconnecting power.

I do use AUX power. Like I said when I do read it finds the TIU and both AIUs

Is there anything I can look at. Saying there is an internal problem is is helpful but I don’t know what to look at.  Any ideas at all. Have you ever heard of this.

Nope, there is a fuse for each channel, they're 20A automotive ATC fuses.

I’m somewhat feeling guilty to ask another question but before I give up I would like to. Is there a board inside the TIU that could’ve come loose that controls power

So the LED is on and has blinked the address of the unit.  As John stated fuses for Fixed, and the Var need to be turned on to fixed or set up as tracks and have the voltage raised.  Internally you could have loose nuts on the terminals on output side.

Weird all channels bad and I would make sure you are getting a good connection on the output side.  Using a voltmeter touching metal of the output terminals?  G

This is totally embarrassing. I wish I could say I did this or I did that and all of a sudden it worked but I didn’t do anything except go down and watch the Penn State football game. I came back up and turned it on and now power goes through all for channels.

I apologize for wasting everyone’s time. Like I said I didn’t do a single thing but turn it back on and it worked. I turned it on and off in the morning but that didn’t help.

So I guess all I can say is I’m glad it’s working
