Guys I just completed a PS2 board replacement, downloaded the correct sound file and all worked as planed. Except in conventional the smoke units will no turn on? The loco is a UP Propane Turbine 20-2261-1. In DCS I have turned on the smoke, powered down the loco. When powered up in conventional no smoke? I have re-downloaded the code into the loco twice.
What do you guys think?

Maybe you have a bad smoke switch under your engine. Try moving it back and forth and make sure it is in the on position.
had an issue similar to this with my railking 4-6-0 found out that one of then wires to the smoke unit was just about off the on off switch for the smoke resoldered the wire to the lug and all was right with the 4-6-0
