I was running my Premier PS2 Santa Fe ABA F3 around my layout with DCS, when without warning, the sounds just quit! No engine sound, horn, bell, etc. Everything else works fine other than no sound. If the speaker went bad, would the sounds just completely drop out? Any suggestion on a fix? This set has the 3V batteries.

Do a feature reset and it should come back.
Marty, is feature reset the same as engine reset in the advanced menu?
Thanks for the reply's, I tried both feature reset and factory reset, it was a no go.
If reset doesn't bring back the sounds, it's probably one of things:
That's in the order of what you want to be the problem.
Feature reset should do it but what the heck, check the sound settings under the sound menu. try each one, whistle , bell etc.There is also a sound hard key on/off
