Is there a way to ensure I'll get an email notification when Lionel puts a new catalog on their website?  (Like the 2015 for instance.) I just signed up for the "E-Newsletter" on their website, but since that signup page showed only past E-Newsletters for 2010 I'm confused as to whether that page is even updated any longer or if the "E-Newsletter" still exists.

I used to get them back in the late 90's in paper form.  I now longer like storing all that paper and am just as happy to simply browse them digitally.  I'd just like to get a notification when a new one is available since now you have to worry about getting an order in on time for all the things that are now only "built to order."

I guess my only concern would be if I'm away from the forum for a month or two then I might miss it.  And with a more than full time job and 4 kids still at home, there are plenty of reasons why I could have an extended absence.

Stu - THANKS!   That was exactly the feedback I was looking for.  I was hoping the e-newsletter was the answer.  I just found the webpage will only 2010 e-newsletters listed as cautionary.  You gave me just the answer/confirmation I was looking for.

It's always worked in the past!

I generally prefer the "push" type of notification rather than the "pull."  For instance I love being able to post a forum question and know that I'll get an email when someone responds rather than having to keep coming back to check.   I like getting notifications pushed to my phone as a shipment makes it's way to me rather than having to go looking at UPS or FedEx's website to see where things are.

Browsing is great when time allows.  But some things you just want the notification to come to you so you don't miss it - even if you're otherwise too busy to check the O Gauge Forum or the Baseball Forum or the Tractor Forum or the Car Forum or the **** Forum.
