This line leaves the NEC at Davis interlocking just north of Newark DE.  Then heads straight to the end of track at a Delaware City Oil terminal.  About midway it intercepts with a diamond the line running from Wilmington DE to New Castle, Dover, etc to the end of the peninsula.  The diamond was removed a long time back...but with Oil by Rail these lines have become hot and NS replaced the diamond recently.  Amtrak also has a service shop on the branch.  I just wanted to know some history on this.  Here is the Google Maps link...  https://www.google.com/maps/@39.6000711,-75.691094,1102m/data=!3m1!1e3

As you can see on the map the aerial shows the diamond being replaced but not complete...the ground view shows a nice new diamond in place along with some beautiful NS track work.
