Did Lionel, K-Line, or other supplier make 0-36 tubular track. A related question is whether O-42 track can be made into O-36 curved track?

I have heard of people bending track to different lengths. Don't see why that couldn't be done. Maybe somebody with more knowledge on that will chime in. The only commercially made o-36 curves that have been made are from Atlas O, and Lionel's Fastrack in modern times. Lionel had Super O in the postwar years.

Marx made 34 inch diameter track in the lower 027 type profile. There is a gentleman selling a rail bender set to custom make what you choose.

Believe it or not we had a situation where we needed 0-26 or so. We bent that with
from 0-27 with no problems. I don't see why 0-42 could not be 0-36.
What exactly are you trying to do? It might be worth posting that and see
what idea's come up...
A quarter circle 42 and a quarter circle 31 would give 35 1/2.
generally 12 42s make a circle in O tubular. 8 for O-31.
You would need 1 plus a half section of 42 to start than 2 O-31 pieces and ending with another 1 and a half sections of 42.
