Question. In numbers which do think are least PW Congressional or PWC Congressional, PW Canadians or PWC Canadians, PW Santa Fe Sets or PWC Santa Fe Sets?

A wild guestimate here. Postwar numbers were far greater than the PWC reproductions.

I would say that is a good guess, Bruce. Going further, probably the Canadian set would heave the fewest numbers.
One has to remember, how many made does not translate into how commonly are they available, or how many still exist.
I agree with the supposition that there were more original postwar pieces made.
But those postwar pieces were generally purchased to be used. Not all of them survived. Some survived, but in less than ideal condition.
On the other hand, a lot of modern era production stuff was purchased to be collected, and most of the items purchased to be used were treated with care.
So, IMHO, even though less pieces may have been made, the modern era reproductions are generally easier to find.
Thanks. Do you think there will ever be another set for presidents who died in office with the addition of Lincoln and Kennedy. I always (even when I was 11 in 1963)thought that it was strange that that set (presidents who died in office) came out the year before the Kennedy assassination and that it did not include Lincoln.
It's hard to think about any future sets with cars representing assassinated presidents. Even though some would think of them as tribute sets. To much of the general public such would invoke feelings of remorse.IMHO

Is that how the Presidents were selected for the 1962 Presidential set? There is no mention in the catalog. The catalog does mention a real-life counter part. Did the prototype have a Lincoln car?
Here are some of Williams Presidential Passenger Series.
These cars are a nice complement to the Lionel President Series.
