The word is that they are going to miss one cycle so issue 70 will be out in about 3 months, more or less. They be back on schedule then.
I hope so.

Yeah as Dick stated it's going to be a few months, Jaini and the gang need time to get things organized and such.
That is the way all O Scale magazines have worked. Health issues are always the source of delay. Hang in there, and keep your subscription current. If the worst happens, a subscription is just not that much money - write it off.
I have only heard total commitment. No other options. OST will keep it's quality and reset the schedule. They are all good folks at the helm. tt
Give the OST folks some time to regroup. They have a big loss to contend with, but my understanding is that they are determined to keep things going.
As far as health issues are concerned: I learned today that I have another kidney stone (my eighth in my adult lifetime). Have to just watch it for now until meeting with a urologist later this month. Good thing I'm not going to the York Meet this time around.
I will, however, do my best to get our future issues together on time (the Good Lord willing).
Allan, best of luck with that kidney stone.
Rick
Allan,
I was getting them every 7 years ever since I was in my 20s. I had one about 10 years ago that was the size of a marble. 3 trips to get Lithotripsy (sound waves) didn't do any good. The urologist got it with a laser the next week. The stone put me on my knees when it decided to cruise thru my kidney. I've had broken bones that didn't hurt that bad.
3 years ago I had another (7mm dia.) but it wouldn't come out of the kidney. Last April he used the laser again to get it.
Not sure what he did, but since April I've passed maybe 4-5 stones, the last being 5mm in diameter, 2 weeks ago. None of these hurt and I was surprised when I passed them, although I knew something was up for about 3 days prior.
So if he/she gives you an option, just bite the bullet and get the laser treatment, leaves no doubt about if it'll work or not. But be prepared for a week of having a stent, and a catheter for a day or so (that YOU get to pull out!!!).
None of this sounds like much fun. Good luck to you all!
Way too much information.

We will be skipping (are) skipping one issue. I've got a deadline to deliver my column for the next issue.
I'm writing that and a few articles. Maybe some of you might consider writing an article as well if you want your magazine to continue.
mwb,
Perhaps you could suggest to the editor that he/she send a letter to the subscribers telling us what the new schedule is?

The publication schedule is not actually changing - same as the old schedule - just skipping one issue as far as I know at this time.
Marty, I'll email you about a couple items Joe G. and I had discussed for material.
Allan, best to you and your situation there!
Thanks for the words of encouragement.. he is right guys stay tuned they will be back on the air!
