Manual has one smoke switch but engine has 2, one for smoke steam effect marked aux the other marked main. The engine would only accept ID1, weird. The speed step control is not working correctly because on speed step 2 the engine is still speeding up at 49 SMPH. I would think this has to do with the Odyssey being off, but no switch. Does anyone now what is happening. I have 4 other legacy engines, never had a problem.

Thanks Larry. That does address the speed problem, I think. I would rather it have the similar speed control as the other Legacy engines. I have to pull the train brake way down to keep it from running crazy at low speeds. Two steps is about all I can stand and that is at 59 SMPH. Wow Does anyone know if the Challenger is the same?
