O Gauge Railroading Forum Grandstand Meeting

On Friday, April 25th, 2014, OGR is holding its Forum Meeting at 2 PM in the Grandstand above the old Yellow Hall at the Train Collector's Association Eastern Division Meet on the Fairgrounds at York, Pennsylvania.

The OGR Forum Meeting is your chance to hear industry representatives give you the highlights of the latest developments at their companies, “up-close-and personal” if you are attending the York Meet .

If you can't attend the Forum session in person we have great news for you. Steve Nelson, of Mr. Muffin's Trains, is back by popular demand to rejoin us as our official “unofficial” scribe. His work allows a large audience of Forumites to learn the latest happenings in the O Gauge hobby revealed by our presenters. Thank you Steve.

The OGR Forum Meeting is designed to give hobbyists the maximum amount of information in approximately one hour of fast paced presentations in the Grandstand. We invite you to follow up with industry representatives at their booths after the Forum Meeting if you want more details on a particular topic.

The forum Meeting will open with a brief welcome by the good folks of the Eastern Division of the TCA and then let the information flow begin!

The following all-star cast of companies and industry presenters are scheduled to speak at the Forum session;

Atlas-- Jerry Kimble

Williams by Bachmann/ Bachmann Trains—Larry Harrington

Korber Models—Rich Redmond

Lionel LLC—Howard Hitchcock, Mike Phillips, Mike Reagan, J. Don Reece

Mianne/Foley—Tim Foley

Miller Engineering—Chris Miller

MTH—Andy Edleman

Ross Custom Switches—Steve Brenneisen

Schneider Model Railroading—Dave Schneider

Scenic Express—Jim Elster

3rd Rail/Sunset Models—Scott Mann

Weaver Models---Paul Fischer

In Addition the OGR crew will share the latest information about a new Great Layout Adventures Video in HD, a new Ameri-Towne Building and a special award to a valued member of the OGR family.

The OGR Team and all the Forum Presenters are looking forward to having you join us in the Yellow Hall Grandstand at 2PM on Friday, April 25th.

I attended the session today for the first time in several years.  Instead of the targeted 60 minutes, it was about 90 minutes.  It could have been half that had the presenters cut their "inside jokes" & comedy schticks & stuck to 5-10 minutes of discussing their PRODUCT.  Please!  Just a "suggestion box" item for future seminars..... please stick to the subject!

Naaah!!  The camaraderie (and all that entails) is half the reason to go to York.

DON'T CHANGE A THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Chris.......besides an information session, the Grandstand Meeting is a Premier (sorry MTH) social event.....it's what makes York  so much fun.......

I believe this year's meeting was one of the best ever.....

Thank you, Ed.....and Jim and Rich....and the 2 Allens/Alans and the whole OGR crew.

Thank you to the Forum sponsors and advertisers.....your support makes it all possible....

See you in October.....where's the countdown clock?

Peter
