Boys and Girls:
I was just out running Saturday morning errands and realized my travels were going to take me right past a Radio Shack store.
It turns out that all items in the store are either marked 30% or 40% off. I bought a combination of "staples" and items I just thought were a good deal:
Train related:
Very large spool of rosin core solder -- $3.00
60-watt pencil soldering iron -- $7.00
14-watt 53 lightbulbs -- $0.40 for a package of two (I bought all that they had)
32-piece RS-branded cutting tool similar to Dremel but not Dremel -- $12
Non-train related:
50-pack of blank CDs for the computer -- $4.00
Package of 50 AA Batteries -- $11
Their wireless routers were long gone and their selection of hookup wire was limited, but your store may still have some good stuff. At the very least, who doesn't need solder and light bulbs?
There are no football games this weekend, so my advice is to take a run on over.
