It was a fun evening seeing your great layout and the very nice club members.  Thank you for your hospitality!

A big “thank you” to the Lower Susquehanna Valley Club for their nice open house. Jane and I visited on Wednesday evening. Great hospitality and we had the pleasure of meeting Don (and his wife). Don was most kind in spending time with us going over their layout and showing us the outstanding mountain/tunnel addition that he built for the layout- beautiful workmanship Don! Thanks, again to everyone in the club for a great evening.

Had a fantastic time on Wednesday evening.  Thank you for opening your doors to us.

Stopped there last night/Friday with a group of 'Jersey Guys'. Very well proportioned layout and enjoyed seeing a CNJ camelback in operation on one of the multiple mainlines. That PRR mail train was a show stopper.

You are welcome. I am glad you enjoyed the layout. We will be hosting similar open houses again in the Fall for TCA York week. Please stop back again as we are always working on something new.

I stopped in on Thursday evening, on my way home, to see the layout and thoroughly enjoyed talking with Don, Chris, Charlie and few other members in attendance. Chris had his new Gold-plated Chessie System ES-44, road number 2019, on the tracks and it was absolutely beautiful with it's running board lights. The new mountain that Don built, with assistance from his wife, was very well done with great attention to detail. If you are going to York in October, the short trip east on Rt. 30 from the Fairgrounds, is well worth your time. The layout and hospitality is top notch!!

I want to give a big thank you to the Lower Susquehanna club  I was there Wednesday with my friend Malcolm and totally enjoyed my time  Felt like we were all old friends

My club mates and I stopped on Wednesday and had a great time talking to everyone!  This was our second visit, and we enjoyed it as much as the first!

Thank You Guys for opening up your layout for us York visitors.  We were there on Wednesday night and had a great time. Thanks Again

A big thank you to all the members of the Lower Susquehanna club for hosting us all!! Myself and a couple friends stopped by on Saturday after the show and stayed for several hours.  The layout was amazing, and everybody was so friendly, welcoming and helpful!  I was blown away at the freedom they gave us to hang out, run trains, take pictures/video and be a part of this amazing community as first timers to the club.  We truly felt like we had been coming there for years.  A highlight for me personally was getting the opportunity to run my Western Maryland SD40-2 on the layout that I had just purchased at the show.  I had a little trouble running the engine the first time because it needed a good cleaning, lube and a few minor wire repairs.  The train clubs on-site tech Tristan performed the cleaning and quick repairs and got me running in short order.  I was thankful to get these issues resolved before I came home.  To see my engine pulling a mixed freight along side the clubs incredible coal drag being pulled by 2 Pennsy steamers on the head end and pushed by 2 Pennsy helpers on the tail end was truly amazing!  Don, I'm sorry I didn't get the opportunity to meet you, but your fellow club members showed me the beautiful scene you created above the tunnel.  Truly amazing work!  I am going to create a youtube video with some of my highlights but here are a few pictures and video of our experience.  Thanks again!
