After years of a model train hiatus, I am getting a legacy engine, which I'm as excited as a school boy about. I have had Lionel trains in the distant past, just using conventional transformer power and commands. I realize these new engines have all kinds of features and figured I'd get a 990 command set. As many of you know, there are none available. OK, then there is the LC app, which I realize controls quite a bit, but I have not seen where you can control blow down smoke. Does anyone know if there is a voice command or other way to do this without the legacy command controller?

You need a fully featured command system to access the full functionality of Legacy/Vision features such as the BlowDown effect via the 6 key.

As for 990 availability - wait and see what the impending Lionel catalog has to offer
