Opinions/Exp about attending Nor-Cal TCA meets

i live in sf bay area and going to York is once in a lifetime scenario. The closest TCA meets i have is Nor-cal in the following cities Santa Clara and Layayette.

i was wondering if anyone has attended these meets and will like to share some experience. are they worth to attend. also do you need to be a TCA member to attend.

also is there anything else in sf-bay area which could be fun to join or attend.
