Love that EL geep!

Unfortunately, we are bombarded with too many products at once along with some prices double of what they should be.

Need to spread things out since two companies seem to be in a race to produce custom runs.

Sorry, can’t get em all!

Well - in the recent past, all that were usually issued over and over and over were the likes of NYC, Penn, UP, SF, SP. It’s nice to see other roads being done. Perhaps being over done a bit too - but a bit more expensive because of smaller numbers in the run. It’ll continue as such until people have had their fill. Offerings will fail when minimum numbers are not met. In the meantime, enjoy what you are being offered - many never before offered. That’s pretty cool. I guess My roads (MP, Frisco, MKT) are not that popular and getting needed numbers will always be difficult. So never offered.
So enjoy your windfall of offerings while they are available.

I don’t want to be guilty of a rant, but this post contains something that once had an irritating effect on me. Regardless of the road name and what that particular road bought and ran, these are all Geep 9’s. The primary spotting feature is the numerous louvers on the long hood that a GP7 will not have. I once bought an MTH “GP7” for the purpose of repainting and lettering for a different and obscure road. This road had lettering all along the length of the long hood.  The model was actually a Geep 9, and its louvers completely screwed up the lettering job.  None of this info matters if a person is buying the model with no intention of repainting. Color me “crabby” but sometimes I can’t be quiet.

Mr. Muffin:  I'm neither a flag fan nor a buyer of your special product efforts herein, but I must say that they are absolutely gorgeous, should sell well, and I'm sure are very appreciated of your time and treasure outlays to provide them for us, the hoi polloi, oh boy!

"We are bombarded," almost like the American and British strategic bombing in Europe, the bombs (trains) keep coming. My wallet wants to surrender!
