I brought up this topic over on the Layout Building - Scenery forum.  Although the packaging of ready-built buildings by Woodland Scenics was the original impetus, I just realized that MTH's RailTown buildings are packaged in the same way.....black plastic base, clear plastic cover.   Neither of these bear a triangular recycling symbol.

For my township's weekly recycling pick-up service (taxpayer funded through a millage vote, of course!) they require that all plastic items bear the recycling symbol, and the numerical code identifying the specific material composition.  These two components of O gauge building packaging are certainly large enough to warrant recycling, rather than taking up residence in our local Mount Trashmore.  Not a biggie.  Just trying to do our part, needing some help.

So, just as WS has agreed to consider the request, may I suggest MTH do the same?

Much obliged....and thank you!

KD
