Lee turner uses scale coat. He weathers with washes from a variety of manufacturers. I have used washes and pigments from Vallejo, mig ammo and bragdon. I paint with trucolor and some scale coat as floquil is about gone.

Brada- I prefer ScaleCoat II as I don't have unpainted brass. I got started with II years ago a really like it. Trucolor is ok but don't really care for the paint drying in the tip.
I picked these up in England last year they are made in Italy. I have used these on Plastic structures. There is a complete range of paint sets, I bought all of them, where I live you have to do that. Roo.
