I really only visit this forum, so I am sure that there is a more appropriate place to post this, but, I think some of the contributors here may possibly be able to help.

I have a K-Line animated house, made a few years ago, and it is a nice layout piece. It smokes and has an animated swing set in the side yard. Problem is that the motor for the swing set died on me, and I haven't been able to find another one. Worse, I seem to have misplaced it. It's a very small motor, maybe something similar to an old Eldon race car, but I haven't been able to find one anywhere.

So, I am open to suggestions. I'd also like to find an extra smoke unit for it. It is fan driven.

Thanks in advance.

There was an article in the September 2012 issue of Classic Toy Trains about adding a servo motor to animate a water tower, and I think the same can be done for the accessory. You might also be able to repurpose a Tortiose switch machine to animate the swing back and forth.

For the smoke unit, I believe you can subtitute a Seuthe-branded unit or use a fan-driven unit found on most K-Line or Lionel diesels.

Good Luck!

I know Micro-Mark sells a number of different small motors in different sizes with various shaft RPM.  You might be able to make one of them work.  Also, your mention of the race car made me think of my Gilbert (american flyer) Auto-Rama slot cars, they have a little AC motor with a worm gear on the shaft to direct-drive the wheels.  Search Auto-Rama on eBay and you can often find single cars in various states of disrepair.
