I repair/service Lionel, Flyer, Marx for a couple of local train dealers. The vast majority of servicing is for Postwar and early Modern. Lately a small smattering of newer, out of warranty Lionel.
I just sent an order off to take advantage of the 50% discount. What I believe I may use the most: smoke motors, new wicking/batting, starter DC motors and E units, R2LC (13), starter smoke units, R4LC. That's about it.
Looking for ideas on what else I could use, that other repairers use frequently, that might not be available from guys like the Train Tender.
Does someone have a list of commonly replaced smoke resisters? I haven't ordered any yet.
