You might consider Weaver's diaphragms, P721.  I've applied them to several Williams aluminum cars.  They're great!

BTW, the old Walthers folded diaphragms (Now available from Keil Line), can be reverse-engineered and made yourself.  Having a penchant for Origami, the oriental art of paper folding, helps.  Oh yes, a lot of patience, digital dexterity, a couple of glasses of merlot, neck massage, soft soothing music, etc. will also prove useful.

FWIW, always...

I too have been looking for sets of good diaphragms.  I bought two sets of Keil Line to see if I could make them myself.....not figured it out yet. I'd like a nice set of molded units that are flexible enough to compress easily.  Units made from RTV done thin enough and maybe support from foam rubber may work but yet to test it.

Careful what you buy or make.  I have some 031 curves and the diaphragms bump into each other derailing the car. It doesn't happen on all my passemger cars, just some of them. I thought about trimming the size but opted to just remove them for now.

My layout to do list is just too long right now to add anything else to it. Lol.

O-31 is tough to get them to work well.....I'm going with O-72 min so a little stiff will be OK....I would like them to LOOK like they touch....getting folks to jump a foot or two at speed is hard!
