I realize that I'm probably the only one here who doesn't understand these acronyms but for my sake and all the other Newbs, just what is/are BEEPS, PEEPS, BEEFS,...?
I've Googled them all and all I get is their usage without a definition.

They were a series of engines made by Ready Made Toys they were small sized engines that were shorter than scale by quite a bit. They were toy like. Had a good following because they were very cheap and fun

I have purchased many of his products and feel they are a good value especially when at radically reduced prices. A search of previous posts will help you get the background on these fun toys.

Got it - thanks. I knew they came from RMT but thought that maybe the BEEP, etc., actually stood for something.

BEEP is a play on words for the RMT mini-GP.
However, the term was originally coined by Railroad Model Craftsman in their June 1976 issue for a conversion by the Santa Fe of a Baldwin VO1000 switcher frame, cab and EMD GP7 guts, hood and trucks:
