If you're operating with DCS 4.10 or 4.20, and you have a lashup in the remote, you're likely seeing a bug in DCS.
Change the DCS ID#'s of any lashups in the remote to some other number, or delete the lashups, and re-add the Q2. That should do it.
This bug has been corrected in DCS 4.30.
This and a whole lot more is all in MTH’s “The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book at MTH's web store!
Also, I would test the engine conventionally to make sure it works. Especially if this is a PS-2 5V engine with 8.4V battery. G

GGG Thank You I check that first it was working Thanks Charlie
How did you test the battery? What time frame consists of a "long time" sitting? If it has the old white battery, throw it away.
Hi Marty I tested the battery Fluke Multimeter 8.2 volts Replacement battery ,the white on was throw away. Thank you for your help, I hope it keep running. Thank You Charlie
One last question, did you replace the battery before or after trying to power it up?
