I believe the original Phantom passenger cars had a random uncoupling issue . Does anyone know what the solution to this problem was.

The original Phantom cars have bog standard couplers, and any uncoupling issues are probably the standard ones, forming the arm, the angle of the pin, or a weak spring. On this one you can see I've bent the arm slightly up to angle the pin for a better grip.

Thank you, that is what I thought I had to do. I looked at the spring ,pin length, and dimple at the back of the coupler plate. I was also wondering if the casting pocket was not correct. Bending is what I will do. What is a BOG coupler?
