There were many more pink ones than the ones shown on the 2 rail forum. Many towns in both Iowa and Nebraska had pink co-op grain hoppers. These were mostly 70's - 80's era cars.
The discussion grew out of another thread. As for the latest info, Mr. Muffin's Trains doesn't have any pink hoppers from Lionel yet. He and other hobby dealers have simply begun taking pre-orders for the new LionScale products (from old Weaver tooling) that was announced Thursday. One of the planned releases is the Klemme Co-op covered hopper in its pink scheme. Here's the link from Lionel's website (item no. 6-16140):
