I hope that I can phrase my question correctly. I have a very large layout. I may be operating 3 engines
Including one or more of those pulling lighted passenger cars. I have one Z4000 that will exclusively
Be used for track power. My track is already divided into approximately 40 electrical blocks. These blocks
Are regulated by Atlas Selectors.
My concern is getting sufficient power to my track in order to
Support multiple engines/passenger cars.
The MTH DCS instructions suggest using multiple channels/outputs of the TIU.
The issue there is with Atlas Selectors you have two choices either your "A" or
"B" Transformer. In other words, I am able to connect only one transformer to
Any one block.
How would I get enough power to each block (without burning down my house)
in order to operate multiple engines that may end up on the same transformer
In the same block?
I'm hoping this is NOT as clear as mud.
My assumption is that someone on this Forum has encountered exactly what I am
Describing; and has the solution.
Thank you.
