I am running a Polar Express with a train sounds tender around the tree on a fastrack outer passing loop with a manual right hand switch and a remote left hand switch. I have the jumper off and I am running the remote switch on a separate CW 80 transformer connected to a MTH 12 port terminal. I also have a Polar Express lighted station platform connected to the terminal too. Problem, when I run the train on the inner track it runs perfectly with bell and horn sounding when needed. but when on the outer loop the bell sounds all the time and the horn sounds only sometimes when pressed. There are also times when the bell sounds all the time and the train won't run on the outer loop. When accessory transformer is unplugged the train runs perfect. Any ideas?

Are you using a common ground? Both transformers U connected and all other commons (grounds) connected to that common, including the one going to the MTH board.
I am a total beginner when it comes to wiring, could you please explain further? Should I have the U wire from the accessory transformer connected to the track transformer? Or have the u wires connected to each transformer with a wire connected to the U poles from one to the other...
probably best if one from each transformer come together. Then one to the track outside rails and one to the B terminal on the terminal connector. These four wires can be connected with a wire nut or twisted and taped.
The A (red) of the train transformer to the center rail on the track and the CW-80 B terminal (Accessory red) to the A (Red on the terminal board). The switch and accessories can be powered from the fixed voltage accessory terminal connected to the terminal board.
Don't use the terminal strip for the track power.
Thank you, that helps a lot.
