I  have a problem with my two PowerMasters.

I went to run my trains and nothing worked.  After some fiddling, I've concluded that the problem lies with the PowerMasters hooked up to two of my lines (each one controls an independent line).    The facts are these:

- Each PowerMaster is receiving power (the green light is lit and steady) and responsive (the red light flashes when I address it, push "Boost", etc).

- The trains run fine when I disconnect the PowerMaster and connect the lines directly to my ZW.

- All wiring from the ZW to the PM to lockon is fine.

- Tried re-assigning an ID to a PM but still not luck.

Thus, for whatever reason, my PMs are not delivering power to the tracks.  These worked fine not even a month ago, nothing changed in the meantime, yet both seem to have become defective.

I haven't tested the A/U terminals on the PM with a voltmeter, though.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I'm running conventional.  The PROG/RUN and CMD/CONV switches are in their appropriate positions; like I said, everything was fine, nothing changed, and now I have problems.

I'll take another look at the Cab-1, try replacing the batteries, but I can run my line with Command just fine (I have 3 lines: 1 command, and 2 conventional, the two conventional lines have their own PMs which are malfunctioning).

Are PMs known to spontaneously break?  I've had these for several years now and never have had any problems or issues before.
