The Premier SD35s are shipping. Please share your thoughts and pictures on this thread. I have ordered the Chessie Western Maryland version with the CSXT ownership markings. I will post back when it arrives. I'm excited to see the other versions.

Your WM Chessie engine looks great, Jared! My pair of Jersey Central SD35’s—a custom run from Forum-sponsor @PATSTRAINS—arrived today. I’ll post some pictures when I get a chance to unbox and inspect them.

Joe,
Excited to see the CNJ’s, I have a PS2 and was looking for a mate for it. Might be the ticket.
@Stinky1 posted:After nearly 2 years the SD35 has finally arrived! Very satisfied with it. Only ran it about 10 minutes so far, but couldn't find any issues. I like how all the controls are on top.
Jared, that’s a sharp looking engine. Nicely detailed and the colors look great!

Ordered the MTH Train Loft custom run of Santa Fe SD-35’s about a year and a half ago and they finally came in. Was excited to see how these turned out and they didn’t disappoint, well worth the wait. I don’t usually post just a reader and observer, but these are an amazing paint scheme. These are in a fantasy blue bonnet paint scheme and are stunning. Very well done by The Train Loft in North Carolina and MTH.

I finally found some time to unbox, inspect and test my pair of Jersey Central SD35’s this week. They are a custom run by Forum-sponsor Patrick’s Trains.
Other than the front and rear-end railings on both engines needing to be straightened out, they arrived in great shape, with nothing broken or damaged in shipping.
Paint application is pretty much flawless…and as Jared mentioned above, I really like the convenient location of the control switches on top, under the removable fan housing.
I ran them on my small test-track layout, independently first, then as a multiple-unit consist. All functions worked perfectly, and the sound set is great! I had to turn the engine sounds, bell and horn down to 80% because they are very loud at full volume!!
I will eventually “3-rail scale” them by fixing the pilots and adding full-length handrails and scale couplers.
Here are some photos and videos…

I love the paint scheme on those units! Also like the unique horn placement.
I picked one up from Pats also. You got two of them!! Your photos look fantastic.
I'm into the Fallen Flags of the Anthracite roads in NJ and PA.
I'm waiting for my next acquisition: a Premeir MTH Baldwin Pacific Steam Engine "Erie" and coal cars from Mr Muffin.
I wish they offered 2 rail.
