Well that is certainly good to hear.  I have 611 already and I did order the 604 but was hesitant about getting the 612.  I'll have to think about the 612...I suppose renumbering is a possibility as you said.  I am curious to hear this new sound set that they are coming out with...I'm guessing it will be a fresh recording after the 611 is back in steam next year.  If so it should be pretty darn good and since it will be available for download I will upgrade my earlier PS2 J's.  Thank you for the info from MTH, I appreciate it.

My interest was in UP engines and none were offered in desired engines. I need to buy as many I think I want when offered, regardless of engine numbers. Like with Atlas we were more likely to get a rerun with new numbers within a year or so. Plus, I was hopeing by waiting I could pick up a DCC unit in a newer run. So MTH, think about another GE  UP offering in 2 rail C truck.

Looks like the BigBoy was cancelled in a scale wheeled version in 2006.

I really can't spend this much but I hope it does get made this time. I could have saved for it but I bought so many average everyday diesels to run big consists that I didn't leave room for this monster.

and more! (berks, consolidations....)

Not to self: Just say no to steam! More diesels!! No to steam.....no more steam, I've got enough........ maybe I should sell an Allegheny to make some room......

 3 J's??

I guess they are offering a ton in two rail in this new 2015 catalog.

It seems like there are very few dealers listing pre-orders of the scale wheeled versions?

It also seems to me that two rail posts here are growing? I'm also guessing that the two rail section of the hobby seems might be growing?? ( discussed over and over...)

So I have to wonder why most dealers won't at least pre-order them?

Some major volume dealers don't list them anyways.
