Promoting the Hobby | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

While attending the Greenburg show and it's return to Southern Maryland at the

equesterian Center in Upper Mrlboro, I was admiring the Capital Trackers modular layout and I was pleasently suprised to see the young ( 9 - 12 years old) folks inside the layout with the handhelds running the trains. I also noted the many familys that came to see the layout and the young kids looking at the kids from the trackers runnin' the show! These young lads are great ambassadors for our hobby. Parents and their kids observing these young lads may well decide that the next gift for the family could well be an O gauge set.

The modular folks that share so much of their time at train shows are the unsung heros of our hobby. It sure take a lot of hard work and dedication.
