None or round is PS2 5v, 2-pin is PS2 3v.
Thanks so much Jon
'2 pin' is the square white one then?

yes
Sometimes 3V are black, but they really are rectangular and 2 pin. The 5V is a square plastic, but takes round plug into a center pin. G
Well, just this morning I had one of these in my hand with the intent to confirm fit, and now I misplaced it, CRS creeping in, but I am pretty sure that the 2 pin connector that goes on most cordless phones battery is the same size as the 2 pin jack in the MTH Loco if you want to roll your own outboard charger. They are also good to make a BCR that will plug into the 2 pin plug in the line to the circuit board. I think I remember correctly that the battery connector is female, following protocol, it should be ( a connector that receives power male, connector that provides power, female). Of course you have to still have to have a landline with a cordless phone hooked to it and a dead battery to rob the connector from.
