PS 2 battery charger substitute

here is the mth sight that tell you who has them and in what state. you can also check on ebay and most likely find one there that will work as well!

Or check out this from gunrunnerjohn and be done with it. I put them in a steamer and a diesel over a year ago with no problems since.

I did look a this, I was just hoping to use what I have, I just don't know what volts I can use.  I don't want to set it too high.  I can set the power adapter from, 1.5v to 12v going up by 1.5 increments.

If i did not already have the new MTH battery I would do this, but since I already have it, I want to use it.  Just need to know how to set my adapter to charge it correctly.

The key is a low current source.  The MTH charging adapter is only capable of putting out around 30ma, that's by design so they won't smoke the batteries in a few hours.

The MTH charger is 10.5V DC 11mA and 3V DC 70mA.
