In trying to lash up two PS3 steamers, I was only given the opportunity to operate them in either foward or reverse. Is there a way to allow them to cycle back and forth between both directions? Thanks for any help.

Tom,
The "option" to which you refer only has to do with which direction the engine is facing when lashed-up. You will be able to operate the lashup in forward or reverse, just as you would any individual engine.

Barry, thanks, but the lash up wouldn't cycle?
Tom,
A lashup must see a watchdog signal at power-on. Otherwise, it may be started up, however, unlike an individual DCS engine, it will not get out of neutral.
If you simply turn on a toggle switch on a siding where a lashup is sitting, all of its engines will come up in conventional mode. You can press Shutdown to put them in DCS "stealth" mode, dark and silent. You can press Startup and they will appear to start up, however, they will do everything except respond to movement commands.
Try shutting off power from the TIU channel to the lashup's track, then turn it back on and press Startup.
